Collection of Personal Information
At some sites POLONEUM collects personally identifiable information from PP Participant, such as name, e-mail address, home or work address or telephone number and/or anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to PP Participant, such as state code, age, gender, preferences and interests. Information collected at PLANET POLONEUM Program may be shared within POLONEUM and its controlled subsidiaries and affiliates, including the POLONEUM Web sites. Personal and demographic data may be stored and processed outside of PP Participant's country, including transfers to Australia, and by using POLONEUM, PP Participant consent to any such transfers outside the PP Participant's country.
There is also information about PP Participant's computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by POLONEUM and may be shared with other Web sites within the POLONEUM Web sites. This information can include: PP Participant's IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. PP Participant is also asked to bear in mind that if PP Participant directly discloses personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through an online facility, the information may be collected and used by others. Note: POLONEUM does not read any of PP Participant's private online communications.
Personal Information for PP Participant's Use
POLONEUM may use PP Participant's personally identifiable information to inform PP Participant of other products or services available from PLANET POLONEUM Program and its affiliates. POLONEUM may also contact PP Participant to conduct research about PP Participant's opinion of service offered.
POLONEUM does not lease, rent or sell PP Participant lists to third parties. However, POLONEUM may contact PP Participant on behalf of allied business partners about a particular offer that may be of PP Participant's interest and in such cases, PP Participant's personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone numbers) is not transferred to the third party. POLONEUM may share data with trusted partners, send PP Participant's email or surface mail, provide customer support, or dispatch. POLONEUM does not use or disclose PP Participant's sensitive personal information, such as religion, race, or political affiliations, without the PP Participant's consent in writing.
Planet POLONEUM Program will disclose PP Participant's personal information without notice only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of POLONEUM and its Web sites.
Third Party Companies Ads on PLANET POLONEUM Program
The majority of the online advertisements seen on PLANET POLONEUM Program are displayed by POLONEUM. POLONEUM also allows other companies, to display advertisements on PLANET POLONEUM Program.
POLONEUM does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third-party ad servers or ad networks on PLANET POLONEUM Program Web pages. If PP Participant wants to prevent one of these third-party companies from sending and reading cookies on PP Participant's computer, PP Participant will need to visit each ad network's Web site individually and request that the ad and/or unwanted material be removed.
PP Participant's Personal Information
POLONEUM offers its customers choices for the collection, use and sharing of personal information. PP Participant may be asked to make PP Participant's requests while logged in, so that POLONEUM can associate PP Participant's preferences with a particular account. This security safeguard prevents someone else from making choices about the usage and control of PP Participant's personal information.
PP Participant may also stop the delivery of future promotional e-mails from Web sites and portals regarding PLANET POLONEUM Program by following the specific instructions in the e-mail PP Participant receive. In such a case the instructions explain how to stop receiving those e-mails.
There are some Web sites, including POLONEUM, which send out periodic e-mails informing PP Participant of news about PLANET POLONEUM Program, product surveys, new feature announcements and technical service issues. These e-mails are considered essential to the provision of the service PP Participant have requested. PP Participant will not be able to choose to unsubscribe to these mailings, as they are considered a part of the service PP Participant have chosen with PLANET POLONEUM Program.
Security of PP Participant's Personal Information
POLONEUM secures PP Participant's personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryptions written specifically for PLANET POLONEUM Program.
When PP Participant purchases at POLONEUM only PP Participant's e-mail address, credit card information, and other information about PP Participant are requested. That information is not shared with any third party.
